- Improve your company's competitive advantage
The BalticSupply project has created better business opportunities for the many Small and Medium Sized enterprises (SMEs) located in the Baltic Sea Region. 16 partners from Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and Sweden have together supported the internationalization of SMEs from December 2009 to December 2012. This webpage has been an important part of the project but as of December 2012 it will no longer be updated.
The BalticSupply project has focused on the European supply markets and on setting up supporting structures for Baltic SMEs in order to give them better access to interregional supply markets in the North-Eastern Europe. The project has set up virtual SME supply clusters that have helped SMEs to navigate through the procurement process from larger Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), such as private companies, public authorities and institutions. A comprehensive supply and tender infrastructure for the maritime industry, the food and health industry, and the industry for energy and public infrastructure in the supply clusters has been developed as part of the project.
